Join our Ghost Recon: Wildlands Network

We have always been a close knit group of players involved in checking out the new games, and helping each other decide what was best for us.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands seems to be that game. . . . . . . While the single player was an amazing story and gameplay adventure, I personally felt it was a little rushed.  It took me 29 hours to beat the entire game on EXTREME and even with the other expansion, set on extreme, i would literally only give it another 5 hours per expansion.

Don’t get me wrong, it is probably, the most well written, and well executed 3rd person shooter game ever made (Yes, i compare it to Mass Effect or Sta Wars (Battlefront, or The Force Unleashed) in regards to how well the game story blended into the actual gameplay and mechanics.  It is LITERALLY the best 3rd (or 1st person) game ever created story wise, and the seamless integration of having friends online joining your game, and helping seamlessly made an entire world of difference.  Having a friend hop on, randomly, and join your SINGLE PLAYER story (while he worked on his) was un-heard of, and a great aspect to what made this game so different.

I tried to convince others into playing this game.  Comparing it to the Rainbow Six series games, Splinter Cell, Assassins Creed. . . . and to no avail, I think we simply recruited the 2 people that have always been apart of it (-g2.Bourne, and -g2.DeCiph3red).  While players are getting involved as of recently, now that Ghost Recon Wildlands has a PvP (Player vs. Player) mode, it seems they are all coming out of the woodwork.

Having a friend that plays it, or a buddy that has you on his friends list makes this game totally different.  I love my campaign as much as the next guy, but having someone join (or even scheduling a night where we do single player missions) makes it an entirely different level of a game.

Having the ability to join a 4v4 match against other “GHOSTS” and trying to use our tools (as limited as they may be) to beat them in a 4v4 just makes an entirely different world.

It launched on October 10th, and considering its 6 days old only opens up my mind to what it can become.

Ghost Recon Wildlands: Ghost War Release Info

Ghost War is an incoming free Player Vs Player (PvP) update to Ghost Recon Wildlands. In Ghost War, two groups of players will take part in a four-versus-four team deathmatch experience that builds on the tactical squad play from the main game where strategy is equally important to skill. Teams will choose from a roster of varied classes across three categories, Assault, Marksman and Support that fill specific roles on the battlefield as they navigate large-scale, open maps and take down their enemies.

So I have to admit, Ghost Recon Wildlands PvP is pretty damn impressive. It is exactly what i wanted and I think all the haters are going to be happy. Keep in mind, Ghost Recon has always had a PvP match mode, and this is the perfect iteration of what it could be without it turning into another GTAV. I thought it was an awesome idea to try to make a Ghost Recon game “open world” and the COOP missions or the single player missions with your 3 AI players were equally fun. I found myself using my Single player AI team mates more than random players on the internet, but when i had task force members on, we just did our own thing and had fun. I personally leveled up so many players and had so many other players actually do 2-3 hour long games where we just went and got weapons cases or accessories / skill points, king slayer files, collected the totems and unlocked the yeti missions or did side missions. Collected all statues so the sanctuary had the candles lit and all the statues around it. Did the little side stories where you collect evidence and fight the cave where all the dead bodies are and how you can put the pieces together to find the sniper.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands Review

Don’t get me wrong. . . . . Anyone who has played ANY Tom Clancy games on the PC have been waiting for a new Ghost Recon title for a LONG time.
Long story short, everything I loved about Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter (GR:AW), GTAV, The Division, Rainbow Six: Siege MINUS everything I hated about all of the above.
